Hello Everyone,
I would like to share with you a video of my forehand following a recent training as i'm currently struggling to 1) hit with power, 2) control the ball, 3) stop having arm pain at each forehand.
Please do not hesitate to share with me anything you are noticing by looking at my videos so i can know exatcly where to strat my focus.
here is the link to my video

Apologies if i opened a new topic on this as i just posted a thread on the forehand hips and shoulder rotation. I just wanted to use this video fore general tips also of perhaps footwork, forehand, balance, etc.

Thank you everyone for your help and time.

Good unit turn and takeback. What is missing is leg drive/hip turn. After you weight transfer from the back leg to the front, don't drag the toe on the back leg (which restricts your hip turn). Let your weight continue forward so that you take a small step forward with your right leg.

Hello, Many thanks for your time and feedback. apologies but i do not understand well the "Do not draft the toe on the back leg". Could you please precise me what you are referring to. Any tips perhaps to start adding this small step forward on the right leg ?

Here's a video - you can see how the hip continues to move forward, and results in right leg stepping forward. Compare to your own forehand.

I might be wrong, but as far as arm pain, it looks as if, on the forehand, instead
of a more natural pendulum-like wrist motion, you seem to be forcing the wrist
to "snap" throug the ball. Nothing should be forced. Whatever wrist motion there is
should happen as if the wrist was just a hinge connecting the arm and racket.

Thank you guys for your help and time !
That's completely true.
I think that i'm fully playing with pronation and i never go to supination. it's really important what you just shared with me in this video as i'm visualising something i was not even aware of...
So know just shadowing in my home it feels like i will do a lot of long fault if i tried to suppinate as he is explaining and mainly because it's not at all the way i'm playing. It's completely different from the gesture i'm used to.
But perhaps you are right, i will have to change evrything. Hopefully it will work.
Thank you

I'm seeing the comments, and thouse seem right.
I'd start hitting from this position (not going to be optimal tough) and see if naturally without much thought your problem vanish. Then you could incporporate the full backswing.

Very Good idea. I'm also feeling that my swing stops me a little bit from foing it right.
I watched lot of videos of my self and i dont know why i'm always hitting late. The only time i feel my arm relaxed is when i feed the ball then its like a pendulum and its easy to give power. As soon as i do a real forehand with the western grip and the swing, everything seems to not being relaxed.
I think that the fact that i should touch the ball in supination that makes it hard for me to be relaxed.
Thank you i will try your advice.

Here's a video of Nadal's FH. Now just hit your FH like Nadal.

thank you i will try this !

In short everything looks pretty good until you start forward. Your release is all upper body and ends up being too much arm... you're robbing yourself of a lot energy and racquet head speed. You should be stepping into the shot with your feet... release your hips and then start unwinding your upper body. You step fwd a little bit, but. your weight is still back for the most part. If you're really getting onto your front foot you would feel like your back (right foot) would want to come fwd or around after the hit (like you are going to chase fwd after the ball)... but it never does... because you don't put any fwd momentum or weight into the shot.

You can also see that you're not really stepping fwd into the shot because you also have a tendency to lean back with your upper body as well. You'll want to feel like you are leaning more fwd at contact over your front foot. It literally won't be happening, but that's what it will feel like for you to counter your tendency to lean back and hit.

You start off okay and keep your hitting arm elbow high and away from your body during the unit turn/takeback, but...
your space to the ball is way too close. You upper arm (from shoulder to elbow) is cramped and way too close to your body. And your elbow is very bent as a result. If you can get used to the arm being a bit straigher and contact farther from your body you'll get more power with less effort.
