I used to use a hammer style s-w. Now i moved to western-ish, more palm on handle s-w. Very comfortable and powerful. What about you?

Well, a hammer style grip and a SW grip are very different. Hammer grip would be if you were going to use the racquet as a hammer - the frame bring the head of the hammer. Whereas the SW is more like a frying pan type grip or the grip you would use if you picked the racquet up off of the court. The latter would be the choice for a forehand grip.
