I hit with Semi-Western to Western forehand and sometimes I find my self hitting my forehand with too much weight on my back foot. This seems to cause my ball to arc high over the net.

    How do I fix this?

    Thanks.

Whe you say arc high over the net, are you saying that most are your shots are going long? Are you getting enough spin and pace on the ball? When you say too much weight on the back foot, are you saying you are leaning backwards when hitting the ball?

It's not going long. It's loopy top spin shot but not quite a moonball. I would prefer to drive the ball with my weight going forward but for some reason I keep getting caught with my weight in the back foot. Especially if I'm moving towards the forehand.

I think if you are on your heels with your weight on your back foot you'll get the loopy no pace shots. If you are on the balls of your feet, slightly crouched with the weight on your back foot your hit lower shots with more bite & pace.
