Forehands and backhands

    You play well. There's one problem with this type of video though: everyone's technique has a breaking point. It's clear that medium pace shots off a ball machine is below your breaking point. So it's very hard to see where the flaws are and what type of ball breaks you down.

    Yeah that makes sense. Will get some footage of me hitting with someone uploaded as soon as possible.

    At the moment, though, am just trying to really get the basics as good as possible so keen to know what the difference between where I am now and having technique that would be described as optimal is. So if you have any thoughts about this in relation to that context then would love to hear them as I still don't feel I am quite there yet even when under no pressure against the ball machine. Being more relaxed, lifting more into the shot and transferring the stored weight into the ball from a more solid (as opposed to jumpy) base would be the main things that I will be looking to work on in the next session, but if you would add any more then let me know.
