Forten Synthetic Gut Sweet vs. Pro Supex Synthetic Gut Titan

Discussion in 'Strings' started by [K]ontrol[S]tick, Apr 14, 2008.

  1. Can someone tell me which would be a better cross with Blue Gear as the mains?

I know there has been several threads on this before but i need specific information.

    Which one is stiffer?
    Which one is softer?

Which one would you guys say offers better control?

Which one would you choose and why?

Thanks for all the help guys.

haven't tried forten but I've been using Syn Gut Titan (cross) for more than a year now. it's a perfect blend with Cyber Flash (mains). the combo is very crisp and powerful.... super tension maintenance to boot.

have tried both and the pro supex synthetic gut titan is better IMO in all the categories... durability, control, etc..

both are good strings and cant go wrong with either one but i found the titan to be better

The Forten Sweet syn gut has a nice soft feel. I would say it is softer than most regular syn guts like Prince Original, Gosen OG Sheep, Gamma.
