These are the girls with the best chance of winning at Roland Garros. I'm hoping Justine can redeem herself after such a crappy year. I think Nadia will poop out before the quarters...she's just playing too much tennis. Clijsters clay court results have just been too unreliable. Kuzenetsova, Venus & Hingis are my Dark Horses.

Henin is the favorite, Mauresmo the second, and Hingis and Venus are the dark horses. I might even call Hingis the second favorite for the tournament. This is the title that she came back for.

Justine Henin Hardenne should win it.

if we're going by recent form i would put Petrova ahead of JHH then Kim, Svetlana and Amelie...maybe throw in Safina, Zheng, Venus and Martina to do a lil damage to the draw... but i think my gut is telling me to go with JHH just cuz i think she's the best clay court player on the tour plus she's always tough as nails when she's playing at RG.

In (my) order of preference, not thinking of odds or real potentials :
    1. JHH
    2. Hingis (Once, just once, if brains won over brawn...)
    3. Mauresmo (would be nice to win at home)
    4. Dementieva (sadly, this is the only slam tournament where I would give her a legitimate shot)
    5. Petrova (deserves something for her consistency)

Justine needs to win to make up for a lousy year. Petrova is the only one that can stop her.
