    Hey guys.

This is my "from-to" experience this past 4 years.

    From C10
    to Slaz PB
    to Yonex MP1 90
    to POG Mid
    to Ncode 90

All great sticks with good control.
    What is your experience?

    to Wilson Surge 5.1
    to Dunlop 300g
    to Yonex MP5
    to Volkl Catapult 10

Played with the Zylon PC for best part of two years. The Wilson, Dunlop and Yonex last a couple of months (combined). Plan to stick with Catapult 10 (excellent frame).

    Multi-year layoff
to Dunlop HM 300G MP (20 months)
    (to tennis elbow)
to PK Ki 15 PSE (3 months of healing)
    (to customer service problem)
    to Vantage custom code 3, 2, 1, 2, 10 (1.5 months so far)
(Vantage weight/balance was partially inspired by the Ki 15 PSE)

Just curious: if you found them all to be great, and found great control with each, why so many switches in such a short time?

I played PS 6.0's forever (12 yrs or so). Took a nice, long layoff, and then found when I came back that a more forgiving midplus frame was going to be more my speed as a 30-something. Tried a few, found them lacking in some way (switched because of THAT), and ultimately settled on PT 280's, which I've now been using for a couple years.

Why switch from frames you seem to like? Not being critical, just honestly curious...

From high school onward: Prince Synergy DB 26 OS (wanted something lighter & more powerful, so I switched to:
Prince TT Hornet OS (the 28" length killed my arm & I was unable to whip through the ball quickly & turned out to be much too powerful for me).
Prince TT Bandit OS (terrific frame, still own about a dozen of them).
Volkl Quantum V1 OS (wasn't looking to change frames, but saw one used on here for a really good price & its specs fit my game/needs, so I took a chance & despite the fact it's difficult to find them now, that's my racquet of choice).

I demo tons of racquets, usually Princes & Volkls b/c that's what I can get my hands on, but they have been interspersed throughout my post-college tennis career. I use the demos when I'm playing w/the senior citizen crew LOL...

From Metal racket in garage (olympus maybe?)
    To Wilson Kmart special
To a Rossignol Quantum Kevlar from Durham sports
To Head Master (high school, guys had sledghammers)
To Yonex Super RQ 500 (seles stick, I didn't grunt)
To Yonex Super RD Tour 95 (First time I bought two)
To Yonex Ultimum RD Ti-50s (First rackets I didn't play for at least two years, probably because I hate Lleyton)
To Wilson HPS 6.1 95 (Probably all time fav, used for 3 of four years in college)
To Wilson Surge 5.1. (Got a great deal, and couldn't resist joining the pure drive bandwagon)

The verdicts still out on the Surge. I thought that since my post collegiate tennis playing is only 2 a week I'd need something more forgiving. However, after hitting with my friends LM Prestinge MP, I may be switching back to a more control oriented stick.

9 racket models in 15 years of tennis.

Dunlop 300G (very nice all-around but wanted to see if I could find lower flex)
POG OS (enjoyable but firmer than I feel comfortable with and, perhaps, a touch too much head size for me)
Volkl T10mp GenII (lowest flex of the three and will have to wait and see how it goes).

started with wilson hyper hammer 6.3
    then wilson surge 5.1
    then dunlop 300g
    then iprestige mid
    then wilson tour 90
and am trying to get my hands on some PC600's as we speak; i love my sticks but find them demanding every once in a while, and think the PCs will be slightly less demanding without sacrificing control
