What is the turnaround time for a thread to be posted once it's submitted? I am not sure how to wait until I know for sure that it's been rejected. I have tried to follow the guidelines closely but they just seem to randomly get declined.

    Bilders,

Turnaround time for threads to show up can vary depending on the day of the week. Weekends will tend to have a longer waiting period due to the staff having less time available to moderate posts.

If you have a question why a particular posting doesn't show up after two days you can always contact us for a specific reasoning.

How can I edit my post? I'd like to fix the multitude of typos that resulted from me posting my ad from a phone.

I'd also like the revise the condition of a racquet and add two more photos.

    Please advise.

Closing threads after concluding the sale/trade

    Suggestion

Could we please make it mandatory to close the threads (could be done by the admins or the thread owners, if feasible) once all the rackets have been sold/traded or have a special icon to indicate them, so as to avoid confusion and improve the user experience?

#2 is in the sticky under TW/Q&C -- I like imgur.com (use the tag)
#1 - we close on request, there aren't any user privileges in FS/T for this, unfortunately. I have seen this on other boards, though -- Admins?

Shouldn't a price be a required post element (and included in the OP sticky)?

If not, it pretty much amounts to an auction post, no?

Allowing the community to help filter FS posts...

Could the moderators sticky a thread that allows users to post FS/FT ads that have been rejected so that we can get some feedback from other more seasoned users and see what we might have missed?

Many of us read over the posts we write and read over the stickies, and simple make honest mistakes on occasion. The moderators don't have enough time to reply to every post, but the community sure does.... It could really help some of these used old racquets find a good home!

    Pretty please

    jugador.de.tenis,

Thank you for your suggestion. At this time we do not wish to open up a forum for denied posts as that basically circumvents the entire reason for filtering posts in the first place.

If you have any questions about why a post was denied you can always email discussadmin@tennis-warehouse.com and we would be happy to answer you as soon as possible. During normal business hours Monday through Friday emails are answered often within an hour.

    Regards,
    TW Staff

Actually when people don't include emails with the posts, it's alarmingly often their profile addresses either outdated or fake. I have up on trying to send helpful (unsolicited) emails.

Also, the criteria to get a thread passed is honestly pretty simple... the stickies cover more or less everything. I may put up a template, though.

Is the sale of string not allowed on this site? Obviously I understand that string that is currently on sale on TW is off limits, but I tried to submit a post for string that has been discontinued and is not available on any tennis site.

Man, I think I forgot to add the Quantity! Dang it! I hope it makes, that was a lot of typing. Fingers crossed! If it doesn't make it, is there anyway to get my draft back, then I can just plug in what I need and then re-submit?

Do you guys allow pro stocks for sale on the classifieds, like H22s PT57s etc? I haven't seen any lately.

    RalphJ,

We do not allow the sale of pro stock racquets on our message board.

    Thanks,
