Used FT Ruff and Spiral Flex as crosses with Big Ace at 61/63lbs in a TT Warrior OS w/ 8g lead at 6 & 9. Racquet weighs 11.6oz and is around 6-7pts headlight (grip built up from 1/2 to 5/8 ).

FT Ruff: Crisp, nice pop, stiffer than OG Sheep Micro and Spiral Flex. Liked the control I got from this string. Hopefully the tension maintenance lives up to the claims.

Spiral Flex: Springy, bouncy feel. Feels a bit more stretchy than FT Ruff and OGSM, felt more pop than FT Ruff and OGSM. Would like to try this at 3-4lbs higher tension

After hitting with these, I don't have a strong preference between the two, but if I had to choose, I'd go with FT Ruff since it felt more controllable.

Durability seems better than OGSM for both strings. I need a string that doesn't thin out as much after only a couple hitting sessions like OGSM does.

FT Ruff is at least as stiff as PSGD

I just strung up one of my K90s with Cyberflash Main @ 55 lbs with the FT Ruff Cross at 58 lbs. Just from my initial impressions it seems really stiff. I used my very scientific thumb pressure test. It stretched a lot during stringing, more than PSGD. Well see tomorrow how it plays. Sorry if I am jacking your thread.

I dont know if Gamma Ruff is Rough/textured but, FT Ruff isnt rough at all. Kinda slick actually.

I played with my Cyber/FT Ruff set up today. I think it has a lot more power than PSGD which isnt what I was looking for. Soft but with some crisp pop if that makes any sense. Too powerful for my taste! Anyone know what the lowest powered stiffest Syn Gut out there is? Crisp Multi is what comes to mind now that I think about it. I dont know about durability.

^how does it compare to Spiral Flex? I really like Spiral Flex as a cross in my hybrids. It seems to be quite low powered even though it's pretty soft.
