Hello everyone! I'm about to order a set of Weiss Scorpion 16L for my Head Youtek Extreme MP and my Wilson NTOUR to try out. I read the reviews for this string and I'm very interested in it..So my question is, Should I do a full bed of this? Or should I do a hybrid? Suggestions for hybrid and tension for full/hybrid would help as well!

If you can afford to restring about every 2 weeks at max, and you know you are good enough and supply your own power, go full. If not, hybrid with a decent synthetic. I would put it at about 58 mains 60 crosses for the hybrid. No clue on full bed

Drew, I tried a full bed today in a BLX Pro Staff 100 at 48 lbs. Talk about a low power string! I was not expecting this big of a change. My other two frames are strung with Forten thin blend and Big Hitter Blue. I mean I had to really swing hard to get any depth or pace. I'm not sure what to think! It felt fairly soft and nice to hit with, but stunned with the low power. Anyone else notice this?

I really liked Scorpion in a hybrid (52/53lbs) with syn gut. Some strings I feel like it would be better in a full poly set up, but not with Scorpion. I think it would be even better with the right multi cross. I actually felt it was quite powerful for poly, but it only felt crisp and lively when taking a pretty good smack at the ball, otherwise it felt soft.

That's pretty high and probably a bit harsh for a poly hybrid, IMO.

Just to tame the high power frame. It worked well for about a week in a PDR for me. Maybe it is quite a bit stiff.
