You have obviously never heard the lyrics to Roger Miller's "Dang Me"

Roses are red and violets are purple
Sugar is sweet and so is maple syrple.

Yes, robin (perfect choice of a word; a little bird to be exact) turns into mighty eagle after snacking on streaky earthworms!;)

This is a myth. Both hirple (an awkward walk/limp) and curple (the strap on a horse harness/saddle to stop it riding forward) rhyme with purple.

Remembered (vaguely) asking about it while in Form One, I think it has to do with perfect rhymes or something. Hey, I am not going back to school for this!:)

    Actually, 111,111 x 111,111 = 12345654321. To get 12345678987654321, you have to do 111,111,111 x 111,111,111.

    11^2 is 121, 111^2 is 12321, 1111^2 is 1234321, and so on.

Frank Sinatra was a tipper. Huge. His minimum tip was $100 — back in the Fifties. Today, that's like tipping somebody one thousand dollars.

Story goes, he asks the kid who brings his car around outside the restaurant what's the biggest tip he ever got. Kid says $100. Sinatra gives him $200, then asks who gave him the $100 tip. "You did, sir, last week.";)

Nadal is the only man in world history to win slams on clay, grass and hardcourt in a calendar year.

Djokovic beat Nadal in straight sets at Monte Carlo 2013, but at Roland Garros Djokovic was in a dogfight just to force a 5th set, and then could only look on as Nadal pounded 22 winners in the 5th.

The average time it takes Nadal to play a point is the average time it takes Federer to win a service game.

A4 paper is in the proportion of1:√2. When you fold the long edge in half, the new page is still in the proportion of 1:√2. This applies to the whole A series.

Light bulbs are an example of planned obsolescence. The original light bulbs used filaments that wouldn't burn out. Later, the filaments were changed to stuff that would burn out after a while so that people would have to buy new bulbs.

A penis is like an inside out vagina. Everyone is born with a vagina, but for men it turns inside out to become a penis. It is like when you blow a rubber glove inside out.

That would be an anagram...who's your "granmaa"?

Palindromes are scarce in the English dictionary, yet two slang words for female breasts qualify.
