K90. BLX ProStaff 90 COULD make the list.

Basically something that was a hit.

The K90>BLX ProStaff 90>>>>>>>>BLX90. If all future 90s were to be like the BLX90, the ProStaff 90 and the K90 will be classics.

I actually have a feeling on this one too. It's a really niche stick and pretty much unparalleled in the market today.

    ^Yup.

You either love it and can't do without it..... or you hate it and the people using it.

    Just like the classics. ;)

My most recent loss came to a guy using one. Dude was crafty beyond belief, it just meshed with his game SO well.

I've even started putting premature holes in my boxer-briefs to get a more open, comfortable and aero-dynamic feel out of my nether region.

I'm proud of that one myself. ;)

Really can't think of any other, current frames that could be considered classics in 20 years from now.

Definitely not the PS90 because it will be over-shadowed by the k90. Same with the BLX Blade and the kblade.

The PB10mid and Rebel95 are good candidates.

I'm thinking the Pure Storm LTD also has a candidacy, as it's just a really different players frame and freakishly low powered stock haha!

^That's a good candidate as well.

    My short list ...

    PB10mid
    Exo3Tour100
    Rebel95
    PureStormLTD
IGPresMid (although I prefer the Mg)

I don't know if any of the current Tour 90's will go down as a classic. Because none of them have been around long enough. Think of the PS85, PC600, POG, they have been (continue to be) for decades.

However, I think the (original) Pro Staff Tour 90 may become a classic? Because it started the entire Tour 90 line.

Largely the days of classics as we knew them are over. Except for some Pro Kennex offerings racquets do not last for more than maybe a 5 year cycle. There are further exceptions for some racquets that are sold to big box stores.

Ncode tour 90 are already being bought up on here pretty quick. Pretty much all the Wilson ps 90 sticks are going to be I think because fed used an iteration of all of them (at least the pj) and won all these slams. K90 will for feel, n90 will for aesthetics, tour 90 because it started it all.. Etc. donno if it will be a classic but I think the Ytk prestiges are the best looking in a while from that line and those have always been hugely popular sticks too, could become pretty popular in years to come. Also pretty much any pre cortex babolat..

I'm not a fan of it, but I don't see how the Pure Drive won't become a classic at some point. It's so widely used on tour and really made Babolat's name in the racquet business.

Only because I am biased, but the BLX90 white/gold/red version because of aesthetics. Also, it's the last PJ that Roger won a major with.

    Do we have any criteria?

    Sales?
    Use by highly visible players?
Frames that represent a trend/shift (like Pure Drive representing the influx of lighter, stiffer frames).
Critical acclaim (TW ratings, etc., though that could be really dicey).

There has be something other than "frames I really like".

I think longevity of the line has to do with it as well, so if the RF97autograph means the end of the Six one line as well... then I think some version of the Six one 95 has to be in there. I'd say one of the Pro Staff 90" frames (I played the 2012 version, but I'd be ok with any of them getting the nod.)
