Gamma Live Wire XP/Prince PA (Natural vs Black)

Has anyone hit with both and have any pros and cons regarding the two in terms of color/dye?

I have only hit with the natural (Live Wire and PPA) in a full bed and had a great time with it. Have yet to hit with them in a hybrid and will plan on doing so in the future. I am considering getting a reel/couple sets (prob smarter for now) when I deplete my Tier One Triumph reel.

One reason I am considering the black is that the natural tends to ghost during clamping. While it's not a big deal for me, it's something to consider since I am now stringing for a handful of other people. Someone might look at the ghosting and not be happy with it.

Here is a quick take of the two from my experience in a full bed.

-Great feel
-Good tension
-Controlled power
-Par on Durability
-Par on spin

PPA
-Good comfort
-Good feel
-Great tension
-Lower power
-Par on Durability
-Par on spin

I know there is a huge price difference so I'm leaning towards the PPA regardless of color.

PPA plays the same in both natural and black. I favor black because there's no ghosting. I use natural sometimes to differentiate between racquets.

I prefer it big time over the XP

I wasn't aware at first that the reel of Live Wire XP was a 330' until after I started the thread. I really do like it though but money talks here and I am happy enough with PPA.

Maybe I'll treat myself to another XP set here at one point

Thank you. I personally don't mind the ghosting. I would probably use black for my own use if I felt like switching up the color.

I number my racquets on the butt cap to differentiate mine. Using a different color might be more refreshing to my mind like putting on a new over grip.

I found i could obtain more feel and comfort with the original live wire compared to the XP, even at higher tensions. Stumpled upon my new favorite multi (XCel Power) when my local shop didnt consistently have the original Live Wire in stock, only the XP.
