Thinking about getting a stand for my Progression stringing machine.
Looking for some opinions before making a final decision. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

Buy it and get some caster wheels for it so you can wheel it around.

The Gamma stand is very nice; I used it when I was stringing on an X-2. It's sturdy and stable and has a low profile (i.e. not much of a tripping hazard).

That said, I would have liked to have some storage in the stand. If I had it to do again, I'd be tempted to get a 2x2 Expedit from Ikea with casters. Just put the stringer on top. Expedits can be outfitted with drawers or bins for more organized tool/string storage as well.

Others have used tool cabinets and workbenches to the same effect.

Received my stand Friday. Used it last night for the first time. It made a huge difference in stringing ease got the height set and is much more comfortable to string. Stand is extremely well built and stable. Very pleased with my purchase.
