Anyone ever played the Gamma Tradition 18 mid plus? How does it play and what is it similar to?

I played with it a few years ago. Plays like a slightly more powerful, easier to use ps 85. Liked it alot back when I was playing continental and eastern grips...

plays similar to the pro staff classic 6.1 (basically a clone), but more comfortable, and slightly less pop. i liked it w/ some lead at 3/9

I just played with it today, that that was the first thing that came to mind. It did play very similar to the PS 6.1 classic but a little easier on the arm. It is much more flexible.

What strings did you all strung with this racket, and at what tension?

not a clone of the PS 6.1 -- its own thing, very flexible with an 18mm beam. Try a fairly stiff string, like TouchTurbo -- the frame can take it.

I try out with the touch turbo. This racket is like a hidden treasure. Was this racket ever popular?
