Generic Butt Caps

    To those with experience working with generic caps: How well do these generally fit (flush, or are staples needed to hold them down well)? Are there any racquet brands on which the generic caps won't fit?

    The great majority of people tend to leave their butt caps alone. So, you're not going to get replies on this subject. My guess would be that, with all the different handle shapes out there, these generic caps are going to fit well on some and not so well on others. Unless, there's a company out there making generic butt caps for specific brands of racquets, but I don't know of any.

    Fischer at one stage had rubber butt caps on a model called the MCT (mid 90's) dont know if they still have them?

    You can buy butt caps from TW that are specific to the racquet. Here:

    I would not mind getting a butt cap that said A on it...Prince Of Tennis style!
