Just loaded a stream and Richard won the set 5-7.
Flo looking good? Gasquet would be the favourite (although Flo has home court) so it will be interesting if he can come back from the 2-0 deficit.

Forget doing his homework, helps his man take a set! :D
Flo's been raking, and he really wanted to put the match away, but Richie gutted it out ... it looks hot out there and, these two countries being contiguous, French supporters helping out a lot now ...

Flo can't convert a couple of BP's then gets broken himself next game. Things going downhill for the German...

Disappointing loss for Germany :(

Wow. Mayer was playing out of his mind and still couldn't win? Just wow.

Nice to see some mental effort from Gasquet though.

Germany shouldn't have lost that.

well, that's true, but what can you do when one of your gladiators is injured? Flo soldiered on, even tho his right thigh was apparently painful ... gotta give him credit for seeing it through to the end.

they seem to be introducing (or at least talking about) kohly and leMonf ... s/b a good one, but I hope kohl can even the score!

Indeed. Mayer had no injury. I don't even think his cramps were that bad. But his attitude on court...

Did you see the fail by Kholi that gave Gael MP? Gael had dropped his racquet after a run to get to one tricky shot, and went back to the baseline without his racquet in hand for the fun. Phillip just had to push the ball over the net but his shot went into the net! Hilarious stuff.

yes hilarious, indeed ^^ (i want to see that again on youtube)
when i saw gael randomly run without racket, i said myself "what the f*ing monfilserie he's doing again" ?
but it (sort of) worked ! ^^'
poor kholi, he didn't need that at the end of the match

This is a repeat of WW2. Germany initially crushes a larger and superior on paper France army. Then on the doorstep of victory they are defeated by non-french forces.

Nice win from Richie. coming back from 2 sets down (for only the 2nd time in his career). some mental strength there from him - who knew:p

richie and gaël are non-french ? ^^'
(ok they live in switzerland, but...)

I was referring to the Mayer - Gasquet match, when Mayer was up 2 sets, then the tournament directors spiked his waterbottle with vitamin A and he developed cramps and lost.
