Has anyone seen or been following Gilad's workout videos? I am wondering if any of those routines help us on the court to move efficiently.

hes an aerobics instructor. Im sure he can help you get a general fitness base but I dont see how any of his stuff is gonna help you improve for tennis specifically.

^ Do we even know who the OP is referring to? IT could be Gilad J, Gilad Bloom, Gilad Ben Zvi, or someone else?

Its the only one I can think hes talking about. I never thought I would see an aerobics instructor in the H & F. Whats next a Denise Austin thread?

Thnx for digging that up. I think that the youtube vid (below) might be the same excerpts in a larger format. Would be nice if there some higher quality video clips.

I guess Gilad's videos are still somewhat popular. I've not seen his stuff since his Basic Training and Bodies in Motion days back in the 80s. Don't think that any of his stuff is tennis-specific. However, it is undoubtedly good for aerobic conditioning and overall fitness. His routines will probably put a bounce in your step as well -- this can possibly help your court movement. Be sure to balance your aerobic workouts with some interval training. Some rope skipping and other plyometric exercises are a good idea as well.
