Volkl doesnt seem to be nearly as bad as some of the others (wilson and head) w. the paintjobs.....if that was a paint job, they did the grommets and bumper guard and everything else about that CatV1 just right. Ed

Yeah Ed, I was just jokin' about the paint... maybe Volkl doesn't paint because hardly anyone on tour uses their frames. There are a few... but they're probably less represented than Fischer even.

.....I think from the way she's swinging it...AND from the look.....that it's the OVERSIZE....NOT the MidPlus...

craig i figured you were joking, but disagree that volkl doesnt have a good presense on the tour. tons of wta players use them, several atp's, tons of juniors, lots of seniors. it's just a case of them choosing a diff way of marketing i think rather than bribing....errrrrr paying big endorsement money. i think it speaks volumes that pro players that could use anything because they prob arent getting paid, choose volkl..they make really high quality stuff IMO if you arent looking for the ultra stiff/ultra powerful. if you're interested check out their website and look at the list of volkl players.....regards,ed

Agree Volkls are high quality. Very well made. Didn't know there was that many tour players--did check out their web site. I guess I'm always blinded by the "Tier 1" type players that get the big headlines... Forget about all the other tour players that don't get the press.

P.S. IMO, Volkl, Fischer, and Yonex are a cut above the rest in quality. Just from some experiences with different frames.

Didn't Golovin play with the Volkl Quantum V1 OS @ one point in her junior career? I thought I've seen a few pics of her using it (or @ least a paintjob)
