I use MSV hex 1.23 on main too. I usually hybrid it with Gamma multi-synthetic prof. I tried it with x-1 biphase, babolat Xcel, or Gamma prof. So far, Gamma prof lasts more than 7 days. Xcel & biphase don't last more than 5 days; usually they get chewed by the main string (MSV).

    I'm using:
    Mains: MSV Hex at 58lb
Crosses: Forten Sweet 17's at 61lb

I really like the combination. Good bite on the ball and the Forten's keep the feeling really nice and soft.

I use X-1 mains and MSV Hex 1.18 on the Crosses, and it plays excellent!

MSV recommends not using a multi for crosses

I hit with this setup on Sunday and I enjoyed it. Still having TE issues but much better than the full bed of Hex 1.10. Plenty of bite and a good amount of power in the Volkl Cat V10 V-engine.
