I came across a used prince racket that looks familiar to the pog I see on this forum but I'm not sure if its the correct make/model. It's selling for $40. Is this the racket and is that a good price for it. Thanks

Yep looks like it, looks like the OS though maybe? 40 is a very good price for this racquet, I came across mine at about 55 each, and they were in great condition. Anything from 40-70 assuming it's in 8.5+/10 condition is considered pretty good.

Thanks Duzza. Just wanted to make sure before I go and pick it up. I don't really mind if it's an oversize or not, I'm sure it will be a sweet racket.

I went to go pick up the racket today for $40 CND. It looks like it's in good condition. I removed the overgrip and there is a Prince calfskin grip under it. I posted some of my own pictures to see if I could find some more info about it from you all. Duzza said he thinks it's a POG OS. It was made in 1987 and is a Graphite 110.

Correct. POG is Prince Original Graphite. NadalClone, that is the POG OS. It's also a 4 stripe edition (4 green stripes down), whereas the one I own and the one sold on TW is a 1 stripe edition, so yours is an older version, the more respected version, I think it is heavier and more solid. Also interesting because yours says 110, whereas the OS on TW is 107. I think you've struck a good one there NC!

EDIT, I THINK it is a POG, it might just be a Graphite 110. I'm no expert.

Cool, I still wasn't sure if it was a POG. I've heard such good things about it here that I thought I would grab it. I'm still waiting for a PS 85 to show up in the used sports store.

Like I said, no expert :p. But why is this one 110 when the new OS is 107?

I can confirm that it is indeed 100% POG OS. The one NC has is one of the early four stripes model which I preferred over all others.

As far as the headsize, they're the same. The 110 was measured the outer rim of the racquet, 107 is the newer way of measuring the inside rim. If you put them side by side, they're exactly the same.

    Nice find BTW.

I've found another racket on craigs' that looks like a POG, but he's not calling it that. Is it just a racket that looks like a POG? If it's a POG I might go pick it up so i'll have 2. Here's his pic and ad.

Read above posts. 4 stripe is the older model, and they used to be measured form the outside, therefore 110"

    Yup. 1 green & 4 stripe = 110; straight shaft & Tour = 107.

To the poster above, the Precision Graphite was introduced in the early/mid 90s after the Graphite II. Stiffer, with a denser string pattern.
