Dolgo IS a lot of fun to watch, must admit. Not sure he can beat the Djoker, but I'd look forward to a match between them.

Dolgo is entertaining, but here´s the scoreline.

I think Dolgo will probably give Novak some trouble, but I'll be surprised if he beats him.

One of the most inconsistent players on tour versus the most consistent on a slow HC.:) Won't be much of a match.

I am almost 100% sure that Dolgopolov won't do better than 7-5 in any set. The way djokovic's playing, probably not even 6-4.

Dolgopolov will be lucky to get a point.

Djokovic will lose 3 more points from now until the end of the tournament.

    First dangerous opponent for Djokovic.
If he wins this in 3 easy, then we'll know he's likely going all the way.

don't forget, dolgopolov beat soderling at a slam, so don't count him out. i give him a 10% chance of winning. btw i thought the op was confused thinking karlovic won over dolgopolov, which wasn't the case.

Even if he manages to get through this incredible challenge, he will almost certainly be destroyed by the great Juan Carlos Ferrero in the next round

listen to that "Crack" on the serve! Joker's serve is quiet...no rifling sound...

If Joker loses, does this board go into meltdown?

Poor Joker...having to face the heavy bombs of Dolgo...at the U.S. Open...for the 1st time! And Dolgo and serve freely, with his quick never seen before service style causing all problems for poor Joker..

Kinda reminds me of a joke...

    -Knock, knock
    --Who's There
    -Fail
--Oh Hey! LendlMac, come on in, tennisenthusiast is already in the loser pool

I kid, I kid. Amusing declaration, is befitting an amusing ribbing.

I had to admit, that first set was VERY entertaining.

Oh yeah. It obviously wasn't much of a match. The first set only took an hour and 45 minutes...

It was obviously a good match.

Dolgopolov played an incredible first set and if he could have converted one of those set points, the rest of the match could have been totally different. The moment he lost the breaker, I said to a friend that Novak wouldn't lose more than 7 more games.

If Dolgopolov can increase his 1st serve percentage he'll be a dangerous player in big events.

    cheers

how long did the other two sets take...together?
It was very obvious that he had a chance only in the first set, after that, Novak could have bageled him if he wanted...
