Hey I hear that the gosen og micro 17g is not very durable.
I break strings pretty often and I was wondering if it would be alright in your opinions, to use the micro for both my mains and crosses for my Head Ti. radical MP which has the 18X20 string pattern. :?:

"Not durable" is an understatement. I use it and I crack strings at an insane rate. I've never busted strings at the rate I do with this stuff. But it's cheap and I like the feel so I can live with it. If you break them often now, you'll break them each time you go out and play.

Considering it is simply a syn gut and 17g string, you can't really expect much durability from them, especially if you break string quite often. The dense string pattern will help, but unless you're like hadoken and don't mind stringing it up a lot, it may not be good for you.

I break these in about 4-6 hours.

It makes a great cross string in a hybrid though. Get something a little more durable for the mains, use the OG Micro 17 for the crosses.

I recommend trying out at least one string job with the og. You might like it in spite of frequent breakage. Especially if you string your own rackets. With a pure og job I get 2-3 hrs. in a 14x18 pattern. Ridiculous enough to force a switch to poly. mains.

It does break very frequently despite the nice soft feel. I switched to the 16, but I don't like it as much. What to do...
