I have searched around and looked at this string and had a simple question, it states the max tension of this string is 55 lbs what happens if you string higher say around 60 - 63 lbs? I was planning on picking up Gosen OG Micro 17 gauge.

On the Gosen site it has the recommended tension for micro 16 at 70 for the high.

I use Gosen OG Micro 17 as crosses @ 60lbs. Strung five racquets now off of the reel with no problems at all, even when pulling 66lbs. on the last cross to compensate for my knotting.

I have had 66 #s on the mains also... not a problem. I am guessing you could go 70 #s

I happen to have a reel of the OG Micro 17 in front of me as I type this and I quote "Recommendable Tension = 50P ~ 65P"

Recommendable?? - gotta love those Japanese translators!! Anyway, I've strung this string up to 68 lbs without any problems.
