I have only used the natural. How do the other colors like white, amber, and etc. feel?

People claim that chrystal is the best. I've only used chrystal and they are great so far.

    i have the AMBER

Let me start by saying... it is gorgeous REGARDLESS of racket color.
i have it on an nblade so it really looks good but my 6.1 rocks it nicely as well.

i have not noticed differences in the colors. but with others that i have tried BLACK tended to be the worst.

People have stated that the white colored reels had a history of peeling. I don't know if it was one bad batch but I have always bought the amber or crystal color.

The natural reel or an individual package? When I was trying it out and got a few packs of it (natural and white variety), they peeled, but when I bought reels of it (on my third one now, 2 of 17 and 1 of 16), I haven't had the string peel. From my experience, the packages peel and the reels don't...I have no idea why, but I haven't noticed any differences in durability, playability, etc. etc. between peeling and non-peeling. I haven't compared colors directly...but I have a white set laying around so I might eventually. I doubt I will find any difference though.

I think the layer that peels off is really only there for easier stringing...I read that...somewhere, so it makes sense that it doesn't really affect the string in my opinion.

I have two reels of 17 OG Micro. One peels, the other one not as much. then again...it's in different racquets.

I'll be an oddball here. I like black and blue in 17g. Red was cool too but I really dug black and blue. I've strung 18g in clear(?) for my dad and he liked that as well.

I think it's something about the paint used to color the string white peeling off..?

I've only used natural. I might try amber after reading this thread. Does anyone have any pictures of the amber-colored string on a racquet?

I have the reel in natural in my kblade 98. Doesn't seem to peel. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

white plays the crispist imo. the others are softer.

I have a supply of TEAL, although I haven't seen that color for sale in awhile, and a few sets of green and natural. I love the teal color as my cross string in a hybrid with Cyber Flash, more than the natural. The green plays the same as the teal. The only possible downside is the color does come off a bit on the balls under some conditions, leaving some greenish "grill marks." Not a problem for me, though.

I don't think peeling really matters if it doesn't change the playability.

All the peeling issues aside...has anyone noticed an actual playability difference in white over other colors?
