I need a cheap poly option for customers. Which one of these strings is better?
I will be buying in reels. I have heard that the polyon is much stiffer and more durable. Which has better playability?

Baseline has the better durability. It's softer and has better feel. It also holds tension better, in my opinion...

I used to do a Polylon 17 / OGSM 16 hybrid, and right now I'm using Baseline 17L / OGSM 17 -- so while not quite a perfect comparison, Baseline does feel softer to me. The Polylon hybrid was crisper.

You have more variety with Pro's Pro strings, and are better quality. Not much more expensive.

I prefer baseline. I think it retains tensions better and doesn't feel as harsh on the arm.

My vote is for Baseline by a wide margin.

Been using a Polylon Comfort 17/ Sheep Micro 17 hybrid in a number of frames. Big time spin combined with good comfort. I have a sensitive elbow and this is the first poly/syn gut hybrid I can tolerate. I hit very hard and I have to cut it out, it never breaks. Good for about 15-18 hours of hard hitting. If your customers are not very sophisticated, they might play this combo for a year.

thanks guys. i think i am going to go with the baseline because it is a little softer and has better tension maintenance.

Cyber Flash is a better string in terms of tension retention, but I don't really care for it, because it's harsh...
