I have never had a shoe last me more than 2 months when I blow a hole through the toe area on the sole. Can anyone recommend a Nike, Prince, or New Balance that has excellent durability. I have tried the Head Radicals, Prince T22's, New Balance 1004's and numerous others. Thanks!

I would recommend adidas barricade 7's but if its one of the 3 brands you're looking for, the courtballistec 3.3 lasts me around 3-4 months. 4.3's are even better if you dont mind paying full retail price

Thanks. I have a pair of 4.3's on the way. Adidas are too narrow for me.

Adidas Barricade 6.0 is the most durable shoe i have worn in my life. I have had them for exactly a year now and will do me a few more months. Definitely Adidas Barricades for a durable shoe.

CB has much more durable in toe area than barricade.
I usually make a hole in toe area within 9 weeks for barricade and 12 weeks for CB.

I am still wearing my Barricades but before i was wearing Nadals 08 Wimbledon Breathe Cages. They only lasted 4 months maximum. I'll try the CB's and see how they go.

Have you tried the B7, or you're just assuming they are just like the B6 & B5?

If you have wide feet then try the Barricade 6 or 7, durable and it also still has the 5/6 month(forgot how long) durability guarantee. So basically if you burn through your shoe before then, you can get a manufacturer's voucher for a shoe of equal or lesser value.

How about improving your footwork so you don't wear out your shoes so quickly?
Sliding on hardcourts is NOT recommended.

The B6 is DEFINITELY NOT for the wide feet. B7 neither, however, it is wider (and deeper) than the B6 (and B5)...

My thoughts exactly. They may be wider, but not in the same category as Nike or Prince's wide.

I blew thru those VERY quickly. I don't think I even got 2 months out of them.

a hole in 2 months?? footwork issues or maybe unnecessarily aggressiveness footwork? or your not tie-ing your shoe snug enough.

i have the gel game 3 for 9months now and still good. 3-4 times a week over the summer and 1 a week over winter playtime. i won't need another til 2013. my first barricade v lasted me 2.5 years.

you're probably the most delicate mover i ever heard of ;)
the Barricades always hold around 6 months for me (they don't have a HOLE in them yet- probably close).
i play only on hardcourts and i run and get balls whenever i can,
so if the Gels also similar to the the Barricade i don't mind. didn't expect more.

Yes, they do. But they were not as durable as the Prince T22's.
