Well, the Pro Staff 6.0 is a piece of history, but surprisely i'm going to go with the Pro Kennex Copper Ace. Most beautifully weighted racquet i've ever used in 30 years of tennis. I could volley, slice, drop shots, rip the ball cross court with a flick of the wrist. Still to this day I haven't found a weapon that gave me such touch (The racquet is over 20 years old). Sure, today it has no power, but my God, for those of you out there who have played with the 'ace' you will understand the greatness. For those of you who haven't, search everywhere you can and try it!

    Submit your weapon?

Why do you people have to blemish what could be a great thread with this childish rubbish???
My first real racquet when I was 10yrs old, was a Pro Kennex...
And I can't say i had any unpleasent experiences with the racquet.. It wasn't overly powerful but it did everything I wanted to do...
And I served my first ever ace with it, aged about 13...
Might go back to PK with the new Black Ace...

I loved the Pro Kennex copper Ace! It was the second adult-sized racquet I ever used, and was absolutely great.

PS85 was great, but go back even further. The Wilson Jack Kramer was a classic.

For me it is the copper ace too! :)

I have used the PS85 & POG and both are very nice. But the copper ace is so much sweeter for control. You can generate so much spin even by driving through the ball. Soft on the arm. Easy to volley, hit slice, topspin, flat...

BUT it is sometimes tough to find the sweet spot on reflex volleys or topspin shots. You gotta get your hand/eye co-ordination up before using a copper ace, to prevent framing.

The only other classic I want to try / buy and use is the max200g.

I was wondering the very same thing.

I dont recall a hundreds of threads proclaiming the Copper Ace to be the greatest racquet of all time.

I used a Copper Ace after buying two when my Head XRC was stolen. At first I bought them because the paintjob was a similar to the XRC and it felt okay swinging in the store. But It really was a great racquet and much more forgiving than the XRC. I used the Copper Ace for over 5 years and I still have one but it's pretty beat up.
Good on you richied, Pro Kennex Copper Ace is a contender in my book.

    My list:

    1. Max 200g

    3. Volkl C 10 comp and C 10 pro

    4. Slazenger V-24. Wood, open throat, a little graphite. So good.

    5. HEAD Prestige

    6. Wilson Pro Staff (Kramer with the brown diamonds). Wilson Pro Staff (85)

    7. PUMA Becker PRo

    8. Donnay Allwood

The POG changed tennis at all levels.
The Prostaff was the best advanced player's racquet.
Back in college in the 80's it was at least 5-1 Oversize vs. Mids.

wwooww.. that's nice.. I know a few guys in my club pay top dollars for the Wilson Hammer 6.0 PH Oversize.. with small grip.. At one time, I bought over 20 of them and sold it in my clubs for $250/pop.. it sold old less than 3 days..

Wilson Profile 110 (original version).. I once bought 200 racquets (from a dead stock deal) and sold in the clubs for $200/each.. It practically sold out within weeks..

Some great racquets listed here!....I always thought the Bancroft Borg was great, and under rated. I liked it's paint job better than the Donnay Borg ones.

Thanks, Sanchino. I think vs babolat and Cracker Jack have taste like us, too. I wonder if that is concensus or a small sampling at work there?

I actually thought I was the only one who preferred the Bancroft Borg Personal to the Donnay look. Similar sticks, obviously. Clean look with the wood and the staid black and white ...rather than the black with the multi-colors.

your take on the Bancroft Borg Personal is exactly how I feel......a clean black with white frame, and a nice touch of exposed wood......Donnay Borg frames played nice, they were just too loud for my taste.....like the K6.1 90 Federer, playes great....wich they made more appealing looking racquets nowdays

What are those rackets and why do you think that they are the greatest other than they were played by Federer?

    Integra?

Looks like a Dunlop Muscle Weave 200g , but what does the cover say?
Looks like Integra; I thought only Acura had an Integra.
    Is it a special edition?
