Prestige 600? It should be black, gray and green.

I hear so much about the classic Prestige 600, and I really really want to hit with one since I've used the i.Prestige, LM Prestige, and the FXP Prestige.

    I got the racquet!!!
I'm really happy and all, but the part where i didn't had much luck is that some dumbass got there before me and offered her 80$ for one...So i could only buy one and i also had to pay 80$...
But nevermind i will replace the grommets, restring it, do a little work, throw a spitshine on it and post some pics later...
I hit a few balls with it and thought like: nothing special bla, bla, bla,... but when i found the i could see where the name came from...
One more question will the microgel or liquidmetal grommets fit?

Ugh. I hate it when some schmuck comes in and offers someone more than they are asking for. Why didn't he just buy them both for $20 more? Sounds fishy to me.

By the way on the sides of the racquet head where the paint wore down i can clearly see dark red or brown paint...
    Could it be a painjob?

Well, before anyone guesses at the paintjob issue, what do the graphics on it say? Prestige 600? Prestige Pro? Elite Pro?

Are the grommets and bumper guard lime green, white, or another color?

OK, then, it's the Prestige 600, stock version. That was pretty much the third version of the Prestige line of 600-cm2 mid, behind the
1986 TXP and the original Prestige Pro (which was the brownish/reddish frame with the exquisite, velvety-looking paint). Then came this racket, then the red PC600 variants/mutants (Trysis 300/Prestige Tour 600). The Prestige 600 was made in Austria, circa 1990/91, IIRC. The replacement grommets in green are very hard to find today. Any "C.A.P." grommet from a Prestige Mid (600cm2) should fit without issues.
