He is talentless and was stalling and verbally abusing umpire. Still, great Dimitrov destroyed him@!

I think it might be his breast-to-beard ratio that makes him stand out...

Grigor was really dancing around the ball in that second to last point to hit some forehands. Great stuff. He seems to be serving really well. Must be eating his Wheaties.

So the talented Dimitrov and Nishikori have destroyed the cheating Melzer and talentless Bagdatis and there are no more live streams for now?

    Melzer-Nishikori was QF; isn't there Nishikori/Murray still?

By advancing to the final, Grigor is guaranteed at least 150 ranking points and should be in the top 40 when the weekly rankings are updated...

Can he win his first ATP title????

I am not sure - i don't have the draw. Would love to watch Nishikori destroy Murray. Is there a stream on now?

Nishikori seems like the most injury prone player on tour.

Aww that's too bad about Nishikori. He got injured last year at Barcelona and at the Paris M1000 and now again? Hope he can play in Melbourne. Did it look bad? Nothing broken or something extreme like that, right?

Dimitrov's maiden ATP tour final I believe. Great moment for the young Bulgarian, I expect him to be loose and cause Murray all sorts of trouble.

He said it's a tendinitis in his left knee. There wasn't really anything to see, he just took a MTO after the 1st set and then retired after being 2-0 down in the second.

wow that is really impressive. His BH is so good probably even better then feds. and his serve is very good too.

the only thing that doesn't compare to fed is his FH (also a very different technique since he hits with a bent arm like nole or murray) but he is improving there too.

I think he will end 2013 in the top20

    All the haters gonna hate.

    Dimitrov Express 2013 upgraded.

Norman will get Dimi to Top 10 this year like Soderling before.

You can see Dimi's backhand is more effective and attacking than most single-handed bd's in the game.

Murray can prove to be too much for Gforce now but wait until the end of the year.

Grigor is just 21 and beat Raonic.
Neither Janowicz , nor Nishikori are better young players.

    Federer to retire, Nadal's finished.
Djoko and Murray have 4-5 years ahead of them.

Guess who is next numero uno?

So I havent actually watched any of his matches in the tourney due to scheduling problems, but how is his movement? Still kind of wobbly and tripping around?

His movement is actually a lot better than last year. Still a few slips here and there but he's moving a lot quicker and setting up his feet a lot better before hitting his shot.

Think it's 11pm EST which translates to about 4am for London. There's a link on LSH now for the match later tonight.

Dunno if I will watch or not. Not thrilled right now and think I would rather sleep it off.

Strokes are mechanically good, serve is above average, movement speed wise is great, however he has terrible balance and court awareness.

The good news is he technically can improve ALOT still, so he could very well become the next best player for a long time.

The bad news is we all know those people around us that just have poor balance and court awareness, and that is almost something you cannot teach - therefore I don't foresee him ever becoming as elite as the Top 3 in level.

As for the match, Raonic served big and went for 1-2 combo winners for an entire match and executed, beating Murray. Dimitrov definitely has a strong chance of winning tonight if he keeps the level up. His serve is arguably as good or better than Murray's, so we will see (serve out wide on deuce court is much better than Murray's but he averages a few mph behind Murray on 1st's. Second is better than Murray's).

Grigor first big test....against the top 4?

I don't think he has player the top 4 before.....maybe Nadal. We will get to see how he matches up. Hoping the Scot is in a funk tonight.

He actually played against Andy in Bangkok 2011 and lost 6-4, 6-4. But he put up a good fight.

    Here are the highlights.

seems to me his froehand lacks penetration from the hightlights of the bagdathis match but still he won that match so that must just be me. Very happy to see him in the finals, he's really fun to watch

Hopefully Dimitrov is not overwhelmed by the prospect of winning his first ATP title, or get too excited and play a reckless type of game, otherwise Murray will grind him into the ground.

Balance is still off from the highlights I saw. Love his serve, forehand, backhand, but his balance needs massive work, lots of slipping, unsure footing. Big 4 don't have these issues, immense footwork from them.

Agreed. If Dimitrov can beat Murray...it would give him an unbelievable amount of confidence going into the Aussie Open.

Ick! How can Head go from creating the masterpiece Prestige anniversary bag to that hideous brown thing Murray just lugged onto court.

    Go Grigor!

Seated in front of the tele now. Pretty excited watching Grigor
Live for the first time in a final. Also watched him live last year on tv for queens but he didn't quite make it then. Hope he'll have more luck this time round!
