Everyone has waited and hoped a young male player can rise up the rankings to challenge the big 4 and we have our answer. Grigor Dimitrov is the young man who will be top 10 before the year is over. The media said it would be Milos Raonic or Kei Nishikori or Jerzy Janowicz but it will be Grigor. Grigor has now beaten TWO out of the big four. Only Kei Nishikori and now Dimitrov have that honour nobody else has accomplished that besides him. Unlike Milos Raonic Grigor has a 500 ATP tour title. The commentators at the event in Mexico said to get to the top is a progression yes you got to win the ATP 250s BUT you MUST win the ATP 500s and the masters too. Raonic is 0-4 in ATP 500 finals. Nishikori seems to have turned a corner with getting Michael Chang to be his coach he needs to get physically stronger. I do not see the hype with Janowicz yes the guy has a big serve BUT James Blake is correct his game is predictable. Janowicz has NOT won an ATP tour title yet either. Vasek Pospisil I don't know about him he just needs to stay healthy. The next few months are important for Vasek. Right now Vasek has an opportunity to acquire more points. Vasek is doing well BUT he needs to stay healthy and GET into the ATP top 20. Vasek needs to join Milos in the top 20 he is almost there. Hopefully Vasek can reach an ATP final this year and win an event. More is expected of the young men since Grigor has raised the bar. Hopefully Vasek can reach the top 20 soon to join the other top young men.
