Hi everyone i recently got a racquet but it is a 4 1/8 grip size i play one size and an overgrip higher. I put on 3 overgrips to the orginal grip it came with. Now the bevels are pretty rounded. I did a couple of practice swings and i could still find my forehand position pretty normally but i wondered if their is anyway it would affect my game. I also want to know if their are any ways i can increase my grip size with something other than heat shrink sleeves or wood but will still keep the bevels thanks!

You say anything other than wood, but balsa wood is by far the best option to increase grip size, while adding only minimal weight.

Other options include thick leather grips and only then using over grips, but this will add quite a bit of weight.

Thick leather grips like Gamma with a thick overgrip like the Yonex Overgrip usually does the trick for me.

How much bigger is a leather grip than a normal over grip

I think we can all agree that you can go up or down from your ideal fit and adapt it somehow, but no more than 1 size from this one because would be too difficult to custumize.

Two layers of gauze tape keeps the bevels well and adds very little weight. You'll get almost one size increase. The best way I've found to apply it is to take one length that's two times the length of an overgrip. Wrap it with a 1/2 overlap. It comes out with a nice even surface. And the Gamma brand is a lot better than Tourna for this product.
