Anyone here play or tried using a PS85 without them?

How does it feel for reduced head weight and balance overall? Thanks.

Highly unrecommended. You'll kill your frame and your strings.

Tensioning the strings on this frame without grommets WILL cut into the frame.

If you're that concerned with the weight of the frame this is not the frame for you.

If you are just after a lighter head, you could always just add some lead tape to the racket base, handle or grip.

Even though that won't make the head any lighter. The balance will be more head light, but the head won't be lighter.
