I just got a set of grommets in the mail for the old PS 85. The racquet is bumper-less, but the grommets have the bumper. They'd beter fit, if not i'll MAKE them fit

how did it go? and if it went well, how did the extra weight in the head tip affect your timing/shots?

I'm going to play out my current string job and install them here soon. I'll let you know how it goes!

I had to cut it up, but i MADE it fit. The head grommet had to be cut at the sides, and the side grommets had to be cut every 1 or 2 holes to make them fit. It appears that the bumperless ProStaffs have a smaller grommet radius, because when I tried fitting in the grommets they would bend (and thus not fit). So I had to cut out small sections in between the holes to fit it. I hope that the segmented grommets do not alter playability. Do you think they will?
