Doubt it will be enough against Raonic tonight, but is Haas the GOAT at blocking back fast serves with his backhand?

Federer is good at slicing back fast serves, but for the flat block 1hbh - I give the edge to Haas.

I'm sure someone will mention Guga...

Which is funny because i remember some people on here protesting that Nadal does not have an all time great forehand because his forehand is only good by dirt baller standards, yet Kuerten had one of the Jesus backhands lol.

Blocking back big serves with a 1hbh?

    Sampras is the king.

haha, Gasquet - what? If your idea of standing 5 million light years behind the baseline to give yourself a chance to react to the incoming ball, then, sure - he is the GOAT returner.

I gotta give a nod to Becker. Sometimes inconsistent with the BH return, but when it was on... amazing.

It doesn't matter how far he stands behind the baseline, all you have to do is see how many winners he hits off returns.

I've never seen these players play in their prime - perhaps someone out there can enlighten us - I was thinking Ken Rosewall or Rod Laver.

Another guy I've seen comes to mind is Patrick Rafter
