This is going to be a blockbuster fourth rd encounter. Blake has a 2-0 winning record against Haas, with both matches being played on American soil. I can see this one being a close 3 setter, too tough to call the winner though.

Haas is actually the favorite to win this match. The only thing that worries me about Blake is that 1st set he lost to Querry (6-1)...talk about bad starts. No way can be beat Haas with a bad start. Haas is playing some of the best tennis of his career. If Haas can block out the crowd, then he should win. Still very tough to call.

Haas has lulls in matches as well(his 1st round match against Clement)
I'm pretty confident that Blake will win, he just won Las Vegas on outdoor hard. Haas won Memphis indoors then pulled out of Vegas. Blake has been great on outdoor Americans hardcourts since last summer. He just beat Robredo which was a more impressive win than Haas beating Agassi, IMO.
I'm surprised that Haas is the favorite(albeit a slight one)

Ditto!! I think it's pretty even - going by rankings Blake should be the favorite and he recently won Las Vegas, but throughout the year Haas was the better player imho (only lost to Federer and his DC-match against Gasquet)
I think it's going to be a tough 3 setter - I hope Haas will be the one coming out on top! ;)

I'm seeing Blake coming out on top in this one as long as he can keep his composure and 1st serve % decent. His superior speed I see as being the difference maker in this one.

I just want to see a lot of one handed backhand rallies :)

I think that's what Haas would like to see as well.

Well, if they get into a lot of those, then Haas wins hands-down, his backhand is his best shot and it's probably Blake's weakest.

Blake has been making noticeable progress on his backhand in the last year....IMO, it's one of the main reasons he's rising. But for sure not in Haas's league yet....his FH defintiely superior though.

Yeah, he looked terrible last night. It's too bad, because it could have been a really good match. Just hope he's fine for Miami.
