I just wanted to say how good of a movie it is. And was wondering if anybody else has seen it here.
I have, it was pretty funny, although it could have worked for any sport, it was good.
i've seen it, it was fairly funny. it was weird though, watching a sports movie that was about tennis and not football or the like.
Wow..thats random, im loading it onto my ipad as I'm typing this.
Yea it was luzy
It was pretty funny.
Sean-William Scott AKA "Roddick meister" played a very suitable role.
amazing movie. it was only good because of the comedy, it had a great storyline, but the ending.. eh. i didnt feel like there was a real "climax" to the story. but it was fricken funny
Yeah, definitely the most entertaining tennis movies I've ever seen. Although it only has Wimbledon to go up against. I thought some of the stuff was ridiculously funny like the midget part with Randy Quaid going I like em short.
they need to make more tennis movies
I watched it. I really think everyone on TT should be required to. It's hilarious for being a pretty low budget, under the radar type of movie.
The stuff the little girl said at the end was incredible.
Isn't their a movie called Wimbledon or something based on Goran?
Saw it, the movie was stupid..........................and funny as heck.
LOL that was funny and the voice over when the kid was running back to return the lob.
Best. Movie. Evar!
I just watched this movie on net flix the other day. It was a funny movie. Sean William Scott has half decent strokes for being such a weirdo.
I agree we need more tennis movies.
that movie was so good! haha
You mean Balls Out: The Gary Houseman Story?
It was a pretty funny movie. The best parts were with the old Asian man laughing. It cracks me up every time.
I really couldn't get into it. The story had way too many cliches for it to work and the movie was slow at times.
forgot about it thx for the reminder
Saw it, thought it was funny. Will watch again sometime.
Its no masterpiece, but its was a pretty enjoyable movie. At least the play semi resembled what a HS tennis team would be like.
Watched a movie called strike about some clown who went on the pro bowlers tour throwing the ball straight everytime. totally unrealistic.
Hey Ben, RICK STEMPSON FTW!!
For sure!! I asked Rick about it and he said he made the whole bathroom scene with the coach saying he likes em short.
I second the notion for more Tennis-related comedies.
It was a lot better than I expected, lols.
I'd love to see more tennis related movies, but it's almost a prerequisite that the actors look believable hitting.
Paul Bettany in 'Wimbledon' was ok.....Kirsten Dunst, not so much.
I liked the story of 'Match Point' but seeing Johnathan Rhys-Myers only hit crappy forehands didn't help in the believability factor.
I did like Farley Granger in 'Strangers on a Train.'
I still have to see Vince Van Patten in 'Tennis Anyone?'
Seann William Scott and Brando Eaton were good for the 'Balls Out: Gary the Tennis Coach.' It helped that the story was based on a high school tennis team. The tennis didn't have to be great.
