I just wanted to say how good of a movie it is. And was wondering if anybody else has seen it here.

i've seen it, it was fairly funny. it was weird though, watching a sports movie that was about tennis and not football or the like.

    It was pretty funny.

Sean-William Scott AKA "Roddick meister" played a very suitable role.

    Funny stuff.

amazing movie. it was only good because of the comedy, it had a great storyline, but the ending.. eh. i didnt feel like there was a real "climax" to the story. but it was fricken funny

Yeah, definitely the most entertaining tennis movies I've ever seen. Although it only has Wimbledon to go up against. I thought some of the stuff was ridiculously funny like the midget part with Randy Quaid going I like em short.

I watched it. I really think everyone on TT should be required to. It's hilarious for being a pretty low budget, under the radar type of movie.

The stuff the little girl said at the end was incredible.

I just watched this movie on net flix the other day. It was a funny movie. Sean William Scott has half decent strokes for being such a weirdo.

I agree we need more tennis movies.

You mean Balls Out: The Gary Houseman Story?
It was a pretty funny movie. The best parts were with the old Asian man laughing. It cracks me up every time.

I really couldn't get into it. The story had way too many cliches for it to work and the movie was slow at times.

Its no masterpiece, but its was a pretty enjoyable movie. At least the play semi resembled what a HS tennis team would be like.

Watched a movie called strike about some clown who went on the pro bowlers tour throwing the ball straight everytime. totally unrealistic.

I second the notion for more Tennis-related comedies.

I'd love to see more tennis related movies, but it's almost a prerequisite that the actors look believable hitting.

Paul Bettany in 'Wimbledon' was ok.....Kirsten Dunst, not so much.

I liked the story of 'Match Point' but seeing Johnathan Rhys-Myers only hit crappy forehands didn't help in the believability factor.

I did like Farley Granger in 'Strangers on a Train.'

I still have to see Vince Van Patten in 'Tennis Anyone?'

Seann William Scott and Brando Eaton were good for the 'Balls Out: Gary the Tennis Coach.' It helped that the story was based on a high school tennis team. The tennis didn't have to be great.
