I was just watching his match wit Gil and he felt he got a bad call, reacted, said like two words and just played the point. That attitude is very refreshing to the incessant battering of other players (lets not give examples, this post is not an excuse to bash on certain players, consistent tennis fans, which is most everybody here, knows who does and doesn't argue).

He will argue what he considers bad calls as any other guy, but he usually lets it go quickly to get to business again. The only time I saw it get under his skin was that terrible Ramos' call of "not up" against Gulbis in Wimbledon.

Anything about arguing with umpires leads to Roddick. lol He is the worst behaved player on court. At least McEnroe was funny. Roddick is just a spoiled brat.

Obviously in a discussion you make comparisons with other people/situations to enhance your point of view. The poster can read, he knows the thread not about Roddick.

It's just that Roddick is soooo argumentative as opposed to Nadal and most other players.

I know. Talk about classy! This is proof to nadal fans that he is not perfect. ROFL watch Nadal fans defend this, but if another player ,say federer, tsonga, djokovic, roddick etc did this, the nadal fans would be all over them about how unclassy they are.

Well he is in comparison to anyone on this forum, many in the top ATP 100 and generally more perfect than many in this world. He's an excellent sportsman, looks great, is doing very well financially, is close to his family, well mannered, and deals with fame and fortune at a very young age in great style.

I've barely seen Nadal get mad except that time in 2007 Dubai, when he was defending his title and hawkeye was relatively new. Nadal is never abusive though and he also doesn't whine.

Federer should switch to a two-handed middle finger too.

I remember Nadal arguing with the ump when he gave him a warning for coaching in the break after the first serve in the AO 2009 SFs. Nadal got angry saying it was Nando who talked to his box all the time.

Yes I love that picture. He was fooling around before a match press conference, it was in jest, he was having fun. Nadal is anything but "tight assed" and haughty as some other players on the tour are (cough, cough). No Nadal fan has ever said anything along the line of Nadal being perfect and not human, only Fed fans did with a view to better attack him afterwards. Nadal is fun, which is immensely better than perfect. We all know who "Mr perfection on earth" is on the tour. Thank god, the place is already taken and Nadal woudn't have any interest whatsoever in occupying it. He's youthful and natural, once again, good enough.

 Federer is just picked on all the time:(

Actually I remember when Federer YELLED "sh*t!" in front of thousands of people and everyone on these boards thought it was hilarious. On the other hand no one has seen this and it was obviously in jest. Federer just gets it so so bad.
