Has anyone tried Nadal's new short shorts?

I'm looking for a new pair of shorts for the summer. I think I have more of a swimmer's build as i have long arms, long torso but short legs. My current shorts are 10 inches from the seam which just go over my knees but only accentuates my short leg proportions.

I think Nadal has made the right move going for smaller shorts as it makes him look more balanced, but I'm surprised that Nadal's new Nike gladiator shorts are 7 inches from the hem. probably just a tiny bit longer than my boxers... Federer's gladiator shorts are a little more sensible 9 inches.

Has anyone tried on Nadals Nike shorts? How do they look?

Tried a pair when they were on Happy Hour. I felt a little too John Stockton exposed, so they went back. They are very short. And my thighs might be a little too milky.

I've got the 8" ones from last year and love them. Don't know how much difference that extra inch would make, but it may be pushing it.

At a minimum it would be an entertaining wear.

One guy in a foursome broke out his Nadal capri pants a few years ago. The rest of his group was relentless in ridiculing him. The laughter spread to the nearby courts. We all had a good time due to his "shorts."

I'm amused that someone thinks a seven inch inseam short is a short-short, when the standard shorts are nine inch inseam.

If you have muscular legs it isn't a bad look.

Everything old becomes new. Expect them to keep getting shorter like the old days. Just as the shirts are getting tighter and tighter. Look at the pants today. They are getting tighter also. Baggy is on the way out.

    I like em.
I'm short so I could never wear the 12 inch inseam or even the 10 inch inseam.

I agree with someone that posted above, I did love the 8 inch inseam shorts, I loved those and have them in every color.

I like the feel of these new ones, not as much as the 8 inch, but they feel like they'll be great for the hot summer days.

I wouldn't pay the outrageous exorbitant price that Nike is charging for these!

I do like the look however of shorter length for sure.

I'll pay no more than 30 bucks. Probably cost a buck 75 to mfr

I got a pair from late last yr when they went on sale - a little longer than these but the same styling. The top has no elastic in the waistband - quite lighter but they just hang there. I guess one could get used to it - but the prices are silly. I do give Nike credit for adding patterns to his and Fed's shorts. But just not worth it.

I got his French open 2014, WTF 2013, Cincinnati / Montreal shorts. Love them. Then again, I bought them real cheap in Hong Kong (USD 35) so that has something to do with it.

On a related note, I wish I hadn't skipped out on Rafa's USO 2013 outfit...anyone know where to get them at this point in time?

I have gone through problems with shorts for years. i have monster legs which I work very hard at. I cant wear and play in regular shorts and finally was forced to start making my own. how people wear them past the knees is beyond me. If i do that they get caught on my knees and pull at my hips.

The only reason I see wearing long shorts is if your trying to cover girly legs. Short shorts are far more comfortable for tennis. If you have nice solid legs I suggest some of you give these a try. If you have girly legs get to the gym.

I have a pair. I like them but I've noticed that they are a bit uncomfortable to lunge in. Just a bit too tight in the upper thigh for me. Great shorts though, and they look good if you have half decent sized thighs.
