Problem: you send your shoes in for the warranty claim and you don't have any good shoes to wear for 2-3 weeks (or however long it takes to get them replaced).

Solution: Purchase the exact same pair, same size from the local store. Use them right away but keep the receipt. When your warranty replacement arrives, return it to the the local store for a full refund.

Or you could quit being so cheap and abusing a store's return policy by just buying a spare pair of discounted tennis shoes for those oh so important two weeks.

I totally agree. You could also keep the shoes wear them out send them in and then you have a pair waiting for you.

Actually the way I do it (and in my opinion a better way) is:

Buy a pair of shoes with warranty.
Wear until you see that they are just about to need to be replaced.
Buy a new pair of shoes with warranty.
First pair of shoes is ready to return so send them back.
Wear new pair of shoes you just purchased with warranty.
    Receive replacement shoes.
When new pair of shoes is ready to send in for warranty then start wearing your first set of "replacement" shoes.
Receive second pair of warranty shoes.
When first pair of warranty shoes is done start wearing your second pair of warranty shoes.
When second pair of warranty shoes are about to need to be replaced start cycle over again.

Rinse and repeat. You never have to worry about not having shoes to wear and you maximize the warranty claims without having to do anything borderline dishonest!!!!

I need two pairs of shoes just because I sweat so much that after I've been playing for a couple hours or more, my shoes feel like they've been dunked in a tank of water.

If my budget were tight, I'd just buy a discount pair that would suffice to tide me over until the warranty shoes returned or when my primary pair still haven't air dried.

This is exactly the cylce I'm in now with the B7. In cases where I try out a new shoe with a warranty and don't like them (i.e. Propulse 2), I just sell the replacements and put that money toward another shoe.

Leave the shoes in your hot garage. They'll dry out super quick.

Why not buy a new pair of shoes right before you mail off your other ones for the claim? That's what I did.

Gonna send my shoes after this holiday weekend, and I just got a new pair in this past Wednesday. Plus I never other tennis shoes I can wear. I don't see why the pair of shoes you play with is the only pair you have or can use for tennis. That makes no sense.
