I've only broken one, embarassingly during a match...
One extreme pro chasing a wide ball and hit the fence post.
One TT Bandit after being 4-5 40-15 and serving three doubles.
Yup, on one overhead. Broke on the 10'o clock position. Brought it back to the pro shop and got a replacement
i have broken 4 so far in 2 years of high school play
3 rackets, one npro open on the ground, after hitting an unforced error against my nemesis.
then two more of my fake npro opens. DONT BUY RACKETS ON ****, it will **** you off.
yeah 23
Haven't ever broken one yet. And if I do, it'll be an accident. Was actually convinced once that my frame would be broken after it slipped during a serve. It just bounced up, and was fine. And that was my only racquet at the time...
Nope not yet...I do throw my raquet when im very stressed out but usually i dont break them or abuse them
Messed up on an approach shot and in one throw I demolished the racket...I had named her Debbie.
many...and not by accident...
I did once while trying to finish a match with a broken string. The head just collapsed from the uneven tension. That was back in HS, more than 20 years ago, with a Pro Kennex Silver Ace.
Every racket I've owned since I was five, save for four.
Snapped my Trysis 3000 the other night right through at the handle.
My kBlade 98 broke after one month of use, fabric fault, and got a replacement. My chance to get a new kBlade tour
I cracked 2 Yonex (R-22 or 27??) at the 4 o'clock position when hitting overheads. They were replaced promptly.
The others?? Sadly, I was a bit tempermental as a youngster. I hit a net post and collapsed one racket, others were "bounced", thrown, etc.
I used to crack my old Yonex rackets (can't recall the name - they were a maroon color) all the time right in the throat of the racket. I probably returned 8 or 9 of those rackets through my junior tennis days, they were very good about it though and sent me a new one every time.
I've only broke one by hitting it on something once, I slapped it against a fence post after missing an easy shot. It was very stupid, I was winning and did win the match very easily and I was terrified that my mom would find out since she was the one paying for the rackets at the time. She never found out though.
Pure Drive +(accident)
TT Bandit, Head i.Radical, K90 <---(not accidents):twisted::twisted::twisted:
Too many to count. Fortunately, most of them were cheapies. Did break a few Wilson nTours and a Dunlop m-Fil 400.
Broke my first adult sized racquet (but it was a recreational frame). It was an old timer and it decided to break after i did some serve practices.
just once....bought a head graphite tour many yrs ago, less than 1 week old...flew out of my hand while serving
2 ps85 st. vincents. both at 4 and 8 o'clock.
1 while hitting an overhead, the other while serving.
I lost my doubles spot in HS and I smashed my yonex Rqis 2 into bits. Really regret, awesome racquet.
Nothing worse than seeing a good racquet get wasted.
I broke Nblade on a serve, on the throat
and a Kblade 98 at 4 oclock on an overhead.
Sent them both back and they were both replaced by wilson.
I'm too cheap to intentionally break a racket even though I truly have felt the frustration that would cause me to!
