I just bleached the spots on my Vapor VI's and was wondering if anyone was successful?

Don't do that, just looked for shoe stains remover in store. I am not sure there is a one, but worth it a try.

Clean with Hydrogen Peroxide and use a stiff brush. Will not damage or weaken the mesh and it's very inexpensive.

I might try Club Soda next. Works great on carpet stains... why not shoes??

The bleach in time will weaken the stitching, and the stitching thats in tennis shoes takes a beating without having to weaken it.I would think it would shorten the life of the shoes. So what if they look worn or have spots, as nothing wrong with that?

If need be, I use used tooth brush and laundry bar soap (like the ones used in 1920s). It works out fairly nice...

For my white BV's I used Oxyclean powder stuff, and that seemed to work fine, they'll never be as white as when you got them though. And they did start to squeak a bit more than usual in the heel area haha, but once they dry out they get better.
