Wawrinka, Volandri, Acasuso, Almagro, Montanes, Garcia-Lopez, Vassallo- Arguello, Robredo, Gaudio, Henin, Suarez-Navarro all have one-handed backhands.

    Coincidence?

well, seeing as the ultimate clay court god Nadal has a two handed backhand, I can see a fault in that argument.

They are specialists. Just really incompetent ones.

Andreev is another specialist. I'm watching him right now playing a five-setter against Fognini against all people. Another specialist... at sucking.

No, but I have noticed TW posters over-analyzing everything.

It's not really a coincidence. One-handed backhands require time for a wind-up and slow courts give those with one-handed backhands more time to hit their shots. The effect is not as significant to one-handers who take the ball early like Federer.
