Given that the TW playtesters have probably hit with both of these, how would you say that the new Rad Pro compares to the Graphene Speed MP?

I do like the Speed MP - it feels like there's good racquet trying to get out - comfortable, whippy, forgiving, incredibly easy to play with etc, but it just lacks a little bit of precision with that wide open drill pattern, as well as lacking a little bit of mass and solidity.

Is the Rad Pro comparable or wildly different? If so, how so?

    Thanks in anticipation.

    Torres,

Like you had mentioned, I found the Speed MP to be a really easy racquet to use. It is very fast and maneuverable with plenty of access to power and spin. The Radical Pro is heavier which will make it more stable and solid. Both racquets have a crisp and lively feel. I would definitely recommend giving the Radical Pro a try, as two of our playtesters, Michelle and Sean, are really loving that racquet right now. They both talk about why they like it on our last two vlogs:

Brittany - interesting that you state the Rad Pro is heavier, as it is listed with a static strung weight of 11.5 oz vs. the Speed Pro's weight of 11.7. Do you think it's because of mass (swing weight), or are there other factors? Just curious; thank you!

    srvnvly,

I was comparing the Radical Pro's weight to the Speed MP (not the Speed Pro). So for me the Radical Pro does feel heavier than the Speed MP (Radical Pro weighs 11.5 to Speed MP 11 ounces).

    hello srvnvly,

Torres is asking for a comparison of the Head Graphene Speed MP (not the Speed Pro!) and the new Graphene Radical Pro. And Brittany answered to that.
    ;-)

    thanks,
    Stefan/TWE
