HEAD Great White 167 racquetball stringing

Morning everyone,
I have a Great White 167 to string for a client, but can't track down stringing instructions anywhere. Usually these sites have a link for stringing instructions, but can't seem to find it anywhere:
http://www.tennis-warehouse.com/HEAD_Great_White_167_Racquet/descpageRCHEAD-HMR167.html
http://www.racquetballwarehouse.com/descpage.html?pcode=HMR167

Could anyone help me out possibly with the instructions? Can I get this done 1pc?

Go to the third link you have above and choose Head and the Zeus racquet. Most of their high end racquets with 16x16 stringing are strung the same way. You need to mount the racquet one way only so be careful to do it right. The shared holes have lower and upper groves, so make really sure you use the right ones while tensioning, else you will have cross strings on the top of the racquet. It uses IGS, so a brake would be very handy to have and to use when doing the crosses.

These racquets require pulling 2 mains at the same time from the top of the racquet, so take that into consideration when setting the desired tension. There are a few topics here about this and the way some stringers handle it.

It can be strung as 1 or 2 piece, as described in the instructions.

Before cutting out the strings, look over the current stringing very carefully.

Good luck, it will be fun.....

Thanks so much!!! That worked perfect. Those holes at the throat were a bit tricky to get string in/out once mounted, so I chose to pre-string all the mains and then mount the racquet. Worked like a charm. Those upper-and-lower grooves though, on the shared grommet holes, I made sure all the mains ran through the lower grooves. You think it matters if they were in the top or bottom grooves?

Good job for being the first time doing this type Head racquetball racquet. It took me a long time trying to figure it out the first time I did one.

It really doesn't matter, but I always make sure the mains just use the lowers grooves and the crosses just use the uppers grooves and double check it after pulling tension. It is very easy for them to slip into the wrong grooves, without you noticing it.

BTW, I would be interested in what tension you used to string the mains and crosses at. Also if the racquetball player liked the end results or thought it was to loose or to tight.

On the mains where I double pulled I increased tension by 5#. According to another racquetball thread I posted in, apparently there's absolutely zero science/technique/method to get reference tension on double pull mains. Just gotta wing it and hope it's close.

The crosses you can pull at reference tension.
