Can the damper on a Head LM 4 be removed without damaging the performance of the racquet? With the damper the racquet provides very little feedback or feel.

When you remove the damper, do you have to change the grommets to which the damper is affixed? Thanks

If you are SURE that you aren't going to use the stock dampener, just clip those long ones. It will then be like a short grommeted frame.

You don't have to change grommets. That dampener will slide off of them. If you don't want to tear up the dampener, it will require restringing to take it off. It won't hurt the performance any, but you won't be able to reinstall it until you restring, in case you find that you liked it better with the dampener in.
