That... looks... freakin' awesome. Can you give us some specs? I think I counted 18x20 string pattern.

yes it is a 18x20 and ill try and get specs. but from feel, it had a thinner beam than the LM radical, and it felt awfully light, the strung weight was 315g

I actually like the new paint schemes. They remind my of their early 90's paint schemes; for better or worse.

so no liquid metal and no flexpoint, they are out, what is in is Microgel which prevents my children's crayon from melting.

I did notice difference in the thickness of the racquet bridge area which seems like it narrows. If this is the case, then Head is reading this forum as well and incorporating some of our wishes on their new designs. A narrow bridge increases the feel of the frame giving it more control. Not sure if the bridge area is lowered as well.

PJ kinda reminds me of a babolat pure drive also. Wish they made one in a 16x19 pattern and a 18x20.

I'm hoping that since the LM and FXP are gone, the hoop is more consistent in flex and response.

I like the paintjob for the radical actually. It looks like a tiger. Very smooth. Reminds me of early 90s too somewhat. The 90s are totally in these days dudes.

    Bring on the Prestige.

What's the difference between Head radical and prestige racquets? I notice they tend to reuse these terms and wondered if there was a design idea behind it.

Prestige is heavier, tends to be smaller. You can check the specs and see for yourself.

I didn't know you could make frames out of candy canes. Guess they had to figure out a way to use all those left over holiday ones.

The pics look nice but let's not wet our pants in anticipation ... the racquet might suck and we would all look like fools then ;). Building some hype around them before the release is just what Head would want us to do also so the joke's on us ...the "corporate masters" win again :D...

So ... when is the Prestige coming out ... I WANT ONE BADLY ! :D

Thanks. Try and snag as many pics of the Prestige as possible. Side views, fronts, backsides, bikini shots, all-nudes. You know.. whatever you're comfortable with.

i think they're grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat! (it's a reference to tony the tiger for those of you thinking i'm just weird.)

anyhow that was sarcasm. I think the design is too busy, like most racquets today k90 included. I liked the lm paint job nice simple clean lines.

btw did anyone notice flexpoint like grommet holes on the first and last mains of the sides? eh eh?

Are you serious? The Radical OS line has actually been some of the best oversized rackets on the market. Not to mention Agassi played with the OS and the Radicals were notoriously "Agassi's Racket."

add to the list the npro and pretty much any of the classic pro tours Agassi had.

Just because you guys dont use OS racquets doesn't mean they aren't good.

I personally hate using OS racquets, but they do serve their purpose and fill their respective niches.

hmmm..... uhhhh..... ermmmmm...... lemme think. All of heads microgel line look EXACTLY the same. The Prestige WILL be the EXACT same as that, but with dark red replacing orange.

I kind of like that look on the Radical. I hope they don't keep those lines on the Prestige though, it should stay candy red and classic. I liked how the FXP Prestige looked. This PJ on the Rad is nice htough.
