Not trying to question or doubt your knowledge, VSB, but in the last two pics ( 39 & 40 of 97 ) from the link, it kind of looks like the throat is a triangular cross-section, like I found on the IG Prestige S I recently demoed, and the OEM Instincts have. Of course, it's blurry, and some of the graphics may be throwing things off a bit. No shared holes either.

Pic 38 shows a more box-style throat profile, so maybe the other two are optical illusions.

I'm sorry, but are seriously mistaken. Cilic uses the TGK231.3 that is the pro stock code for the MG Radical MP 16x19. I don't know what you are imagining.

Wouldn't it be nice if Head made a Prestige MP (18x20) 25th anniversary special that had the same specs as the PT280/630? I would order enough to stock up for life. :)

    me, i´m dreaming of a 25th mid:)
isn´t the main difference between the current MP and the PT630 in the materials used?

Yeah, I believe the physical dimensions and string pattern are pretty darn close between the PT630 and the Prestige MP. Seems like the construction / materials make all the difference.

Now I'm wondering, why do I need black paintjob if red looks so much richer and prestigious?

I'm definitely not all that impressed with the look of this black or dark grey frame. Now if it had been matte black or a pencil lead graphite color I'd be lining up.

"Thank You Head Prestige"??? Really, am I reading that correctly - a product that thanks itself!

to be original, for one, it would have to be a mid. the 630 and 660 versions came out later

Looks great, but if they really wanted to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Prestige they would release a mid...

Hmmm... maybe I was confused w/ the other post of reissuing head racquets, this anniversary edition looks like a new paint job of the current prestige? Not that it's a bad frame... is there a mid version coming out? I know Goran used the mid version in his Wimbledons. Was the mid+ used to win any of the grand slams?

No mids are coming out only MP and its just a new paintjob, no new technologies

Is it just standard black CAP grommets?
If so, it's a shame they did not produce semi-transparent black ones

Well, that's fine. I liked the original red color but I guess there's a lot of interest in this frame judging by this thread. I do like the anniversary paintjob better than the current Youtek IG.

I think w/ the Agassi limited edition, they used the original bumblebee pj. I think they even sent them w/ rubber bands!

Why would the place of manufacturing make any difference? Would you buy them if they were made in Austria?

Initially when the Agassi limited edition came out, I think some people were holding them as collector's items. But then Head upped the number produced... in the end they ended up going on clearance sale.

Is this prestige "LTD" mean limited edition? How many will they produce?

Its the same price as the regular so its going to be made in reasonably large quantities, but for a limited period of time.

If the demand is high, the time period for making them would be extended.

Isn't it funny when the hype machines whirr into overdrive? It will be nice to get a chuckle at people's attempts to flip it at >$250+ the way some current flippers have tried to offload PS85 Reissues (seen asking $250 also).
