What is your French rating (as I can see you are in Lille)? Because to me, a 5.5 level player knows better than anyone else which kind of stick to use according to his game.
But to answer your question, I have always prefered the Dunlop feeling than Head and I do not appreciate that much the others S versions so I would go to 400 Tour (BTW I am on the way to test it).

is it customary to start a reply with a derogatory remark?

I only have the S and it is not much less forgiving than other Prestiges so will suit a strong player more than the PR suggests IMO.

@Dgdavid: you are right and I feel sorry if my remark has been considered as derogatory. In fact I wanted to know what was a 5.5 NTRP rating compard to a French rating as I have read somewhere on a threat a 5.5 was almost a pro player level. Promoes, I will be more refined from now on!

@Xeros: As I told you I have not tried the 400 Tour but if it is really a bit more powerfull than the 300 series from Dunlop I have been using for long time, I think there should be a world of difference between the two. I would say if you are more of a spin player, go with the 400 Tour, it will bring more pops than the Prestige S, perhaps more dedicated to flat hitter. You should also give a try to the 300 normal version with a bit of lead, a great stick IMO.
About the string, I can't really tell as I am more fan of multi. To what I have heard, the alu power could be great with this kind of stick (mean the 400T) but maybe a little bit too demanding on the Prestige S.
BTW, I am 15/2 in France, that will explain why I can find a stick demanding and not you!

I figure out 5/6 is about 5.0 US rating (but I do not know the equivalence precisely as the two systems are definitely different).

I guess your last question if more for Dgdavid than me, as he uses a Prestige S. In any case, I would go for Intellitour with Prestige, 24kg or kinf of a soft multi as NRG2 or Xone Bi phase.

Dunlop and Wilson feels are quite different, even if I have never given a try to the Pro Open, I guess it is more stable than the 400T but the Dunlop has got more plow through and is maybe more easy to control.

That's right i prefer the wilson feeling, but i've more control with pro open than the 400 tour, for thé plowthrought 400 tour is better. So i'm going to put leather grip And 4 grams at 3 And 9.
After i choice between prestige S And pro open !!!!
It's hard to choice the good stick
