    Hi guys,

I currently use 2 Head YT Radicat MP but both of the, seem to have cracked just under the head of the racket. I don't hit my rackets down at all and I'm getting my rackets replaced but I was wondering if anyone else had the same problems?

And if so can you recommend any rackets that are more durable?

I use(d) the Rad MP, went for an overhead the other day (it was pouring rain and both my hand and grip were soaked), the thing flew out of my hand, cracked in 2 places! Loved the racquet but dunno how to tell my parents i've broken it :(

I do love the racket but it's just not durable enough. I've seen on the forums that the Wilson blx blade 98 is quite a similar racket. Does anyone have any thoughts on that racket?

The blade has a huge swingweight and more power so they are very different racquets. And despite the same string pattern, the blade is a true 98 and the radical is a true 95.

Thanks and I heard that the radicals actually have a 95 head size but head don't seem to be doing anything about it

Why not try to obtain the MG or LM Radical MP? They're both slightly heavier so they should contain more graphite (I hope.) You may have to lead them up slightly as they are measured out with a lower SW.

The view often expressed here is that the frame of radicals distorts under stringing, so maybe inappropriate stringing may have contributed.

Do you know if the ig radical is more durable or less prone to distortion?

I have, used and/or string/strung Ti, LM and MG Rad OS's and MP's

the hoop of OS radicals distort more easily than most racquets during stringing/ when strung..... the MP's do not.

Have not had/seen cracking issues with any of those I have listed above.
